Pot Paintings
Tried out the crackle effect on this..here a base lighter colour is first applied,allowed tk dry completely,then a later of crackle medium is applied - when its half-dry and tacky, a coat of the darker colour is applied they are allowed to dry completely - in the process, the crackle medium crackles and exposes the layer of paint lying beneath its surface, thus giving this beautiful effect..!!

Stuck tissue paper all over the surface of the pot to create a texture - then painted over it and cut-mirror pieces here and there..

Tried this using the blocking technique where we try to reproduce the original picture by using jus lines,not bothering about the exact curves..once the original picture falls into proportion, we then fine tune to get the actual figure..

Ganesha is the one of the most important Gods in Hindu mythology and he has to be worshipped first and foremost in any religious ritual/festival - He is the GOD OF BEGINNINGS. He is mostly depicted as elephant-faced with a human body.Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles, the patron of arts and sciences and the deva of intellect and wisdom.
